Russian forces attacked a postal vehicle with a drone on a road between settlements in the Vorozhba community of Sumy district on Thursday, injuring the driver and a postal worker.

Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov reported the attack on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy struck a clearly marked vehicle belonging to a mobile post office – a civilian postal van that was easily identifiable on the road. These vehicles deliver pensions, mail, and other essential services to residents," Hryhorov said.

He noted that the vehicle had been purchased with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to ensure the provision of basic services to local communities.
