A man and a woman were killed in the Okhtyrka district of the Sumy region following a strike by a Russian drone.
This was reported on Telegram by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to Ukrinform.
According to the investigation, on May 28, 2026, at around 08:00, the occupiers attacked with a drone two civilians traveling along a field road in the Velyka Pysarivka community of the Okhtyrka district. The man and woman were killed. Their identities are currently being established.
Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes resulting in death (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
