Russian forces continued aerial attacks across Ukraine early Friday morning, July 3, targeting the Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA), stated that four people died in the strike. The fatalities included two women aged 39 and 26, a 76-year-old man, and a 1-year-old girl who died alongside her mother. Three men sustained injuries and are receiving medical assistance, local authorities reported.
Dnipropetrovsk region strikes The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported that Russian attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region resulted in 1 death and 13 injuries. In the city of Kryvyi Rih, an overnight strike injured seven people. Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, stated two women, aged 45 and 68, were hospitalized in moderate condition. The DSNS and local authorities reported damage to 9 multi-apartment residential buildings, educational facilities, a commercial enterprise, a store, garages, and 10 vehicles. Two buildings temporarily lost gas supply. Emergency and utility crews were deployed to the affected areas, and a local relief headquarters was established to process aid applications and assist residents. On Friday morning, Russian forces struck a gas station in the Sofiyivka community of the Kryvyi Rih district, causing a fire. The DSNS reported one fatality and three injuries from this attack.
