The Federal Ministry of Education has inaugurated the second cohort of the Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training programme at the I Choose Life Foundation, an accredited training centre.
The initiative is said to be part of efforts to equip young Nigerians with practical skills for employment, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
The inauguration and orientation programme, held at the foundation’s training centre, was conducted by the National Programme Monitoring Office, represented by Mr Tunji Odewunmi.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Odewunmi urged participants to take full advantage of the opportunity, describing the initiative as a transformative programme capable of changing lives through skills acquisition.
This was disclosed in a statement by the ministry on Thursday.
