Tim Motors Nigeria has unveiled plans to establish electric vehicle (EV) service stations across major cities in the country, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano, as the company moves to address growing concerns over after-sales support and strengthen confidence in Nigeria’s emerging EV market.

This follows its recent introduction of Geely Galaxy new energy vehicles into Nigeria, under a sole distributorship arrangement with Geely Auto, one of China’s major forces in the country’s transition to new-energy mobility.

Leon Zhan, chief executive officer of Tim Motors Nigeria, disclosed this during a media interaction held alongside a test-drive session for the company’s newly introduced Geely Galaxy electric vehicle lineup.

According to Zhan, the planned service network is designed to address one of the biggest concerns among prospective EV buyers, access to reliable maintenance, spare parts, and technical support.
