First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with a delegation from Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis led by MP Alibala Maharramzade.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported the meeting, according to Ukrinform.

“The topics of the meeting included opportunities for Azerbaijani companies to participate in restoring Ukraine’s energy facilities damaged by Russian attacks. Denys Shmyhal emphasized Ukraine’s interest in developing joint projects and deepening partnership,” the statement said.

The sides also discussed the implementation of agreements reached with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov regarding rehabilitation programs in Azerbaijan for children of Ukrainian energy workers killed in the war.
