Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has arrived in New Delhi on a three-day official visit for the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit. She was received at the airport by Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Takaichi will hold bilateral talks focusing on economic security, semiconductors, critical minerals, resilient supply chains, trade, technology and defence cooperation. The leaders are also expected to discuss regional developments, including the Indo-Pacific, Ukraine and West Asia.
