Donors handed over a newly built house on Wednesday (July 1) to a woman whose kutcha house was destroyed during last year’s rains at Thuppekallu in Arkula, off Mangaluru.Kishan J. Shetty, entrepreneur and owner of Adyar Gardens, who is involved in social service, bore the whole construction cost after learning about how the rains had ravaged Jayanthi Paramashiva’s tin-sheet house.
