Philanthropist and native of Tummalapalli village of Ambedkar Konasesma district, Dr. Paramata Narasimhamurthy, won the hearts of villagers through his family’s continued commitment to social service.

On Wednesday (December 25, 2025), his son Krishnamohan laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of a bus shelter that had earlier been removed due to road widening works.

As part of a charitable initiative, Dr. Narasimhamurthy and his son Krishnamohan distributed blankets to poor elderly persons and widows in Tummalapalli and surrounding villages, including Komaragiri Patnam and Odalarevu. The blankets were delivered by visiting the beneficiaries at their homes, reflecting the family’s hands-on approach to service.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Krishnamohan said it gave him immense happiness to follow in the footsteps of his father and participate in service-oriented activities. He stated that several welfare programmes had already been undertaken for the development of Tummalapalli village and assured that many more initiatives would be implemented in the future based on the needs of the village.

He also announced that a charitable trust named Dr. PNM Charitable Trust, in honour of his father Dr. Narasimhamurthy, would be established shortly. All future welfare activities would be carried out under the banner of the trust, he added.
