Anakapalli District Collector Vijaya Krishnan offered a ride in her car to a group of school children stranded in the rain while returning from an official programme on Friday.The incident occurred while the Collector was returning after participating in the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) programme at Madugula.She noticed several students waiting for a bus in heavy rain near Bangarumetta. Concerned about their inconvenience, Ms. Krishnan immediately instructed her driver to stop the official vehicle.Enquiring about their destination, she offered them a lift in her vehicle and ensured they were safely dropped at Chinnappanapalem from Bangarumetta Junction.The Collector’s response drew appreciation from local residents who witnessed the incident.
