The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET)-2026 recorded an impressive pass percentage, with 1,82,317 candidates qualifying in the Engineering stream and 63,546 clearing the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Nara Lokesh announced on Wednesday.Sharing the results on social media, Mr. Lokesh congratulated all the successful candidates and highlighted that 70.52% of students qualified in the Engineering stream, while the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream registered an 89.59% pass percentage. He also lauded the performance of girl students, who outperformed boys in the Engineering stream with a pass percentage of 71.65%, describing their achievement as a matter of pride for the State. “Your success powers Andhra Pradesh’s future,” he said.According to the AP EAPCET-2026 results released by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)- Kakinada, which conducted the examination on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a total of 2,76,572 candidates had registered for the Engineering stream, of whom 2,58,545 appeared and 1,82,317 qualified, resulting in a 70.52% success rate.In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, 79,231 candidates registered, 70,929 appeared for the examination and 63,546 qualified, taking the overall pass rate to 89.59%.The entrance test was conducted from May 12 to 15 and May 18 to 20, 2026 in two sessions each day across 141 test centres spread over 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh, besides one centre in the Hyderabad region. Following the release of the preliminary key on May 25 and the consideration of objections submitted by candidates, the final key was prepared by an expert committee before processing the results.Gender-wise analysis showed that in the Engineering stream, 81,473 girl students qualified with a pass rate of 71.65%, while 1,00,844 boys qualified with a pass rate of 69.63%. In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, 48,839 girls and 14,707 boys qualified, with pass percentages of 89.40% and 90.22% respectively.Candidates can download their rank cards from the AP EAPCET portal cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET and also access their results through the State government’s WhatsApp Governance service by sending a message to 9552300009, the Minister said.
