Out of the total number of 19,880 candidates who appeared for the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET)-2026, 19,741 candidates have qualified, registering an overall pass percentage of 99.30%. The results were announced on Tuesday (May 26, 2026) by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), which entrusted the conduct of the examination to Dravidian University.Pleased to announce the official release of the APEDCET-2026 results. This year, an exceptional 19,741 students have successfully qualified out of the 19,880 who appeared, securing an outstanding overall pass percentage of 99.30%,” he posted on X, and congratulated the qualified candidates. He said candidates can download their rank cards from the AP EDCET portal, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in//EDCET, and access results through WhatsApp services on 9552300009.The AP EDCET-2026 examination was held on May 8, 2026, in two shifts across 90 centres, covering all 13 combined districts of Andhra Pradesh. AP EDCET convener D. Srinivas Kumar said the examination saw a sharp rise in registrations this year, with 24,628 candidates registering for the test, a 38% increase over the previous year.Among the streams, Mathematics recorded the highest number of candidates, with 5,903 candidates appearing and 5,895 qualifying, achieving a pass rate of 99.86%. Physical Science registered a 99.79% pass rate, while Biological Science recorded 99.31%. Social Studies achieved a pass percentage of 98.68%, and English candidates secured 98.32%.Preliminary answer keys were released on May 12, and objections were accepted till May 14, 2026. After scrutiny by subject experts, final keys were prepared and the results processed accordingly, Mr. Kumar said.
