David’s Christian Centre (DCC), led by Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo, is set to host its 5th International Word of Faith Conference (IWOF) from July 7 to July 12, 2026. The week-long programme will bring together leading Christian ministers and thousands of participants for teachings and discussions focused on faith, resilience and personal transformation.

The conference will focus on Faith-building, resilience, hope and personal growth, reflecting what organisers describe as a growing need for practical and spiritual support amid economic and social challenges.

According to the Pastor Mark Akpaibor, Chaplain of Team Echo, IWOF has evolved beyond a traditional church gathering into a platform designed to help individuals navigate life’s challenges through faith-based teachings and practical encouragement.

Speaking ahead of the conference, Akpaibor, said the event aims to equip participants with the mindset and confidence needed to overcome obstacles and pursue their goals.

“One of the major objectives of IWOF is to help people live a life of victory and rise above circumstances that may appear to be obstacles to progress,” he said. “It is about giving people hope irrespective of the hopelessness they may be facing.”
