The Mega Music Festival 2.0 is set to hold Friday, 12th of June 2026, by 8:00 PM at the historic Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, with the prophetic theme, “A NEW SEASON.” The night of worship will feature an array of renowned and spirit-filled worship leaders who have been specially invited to usher participants into an atmosphere of heartfelt praise, worship, and divine encounters. Among those scheduled to minister are Minister Nathaniel Bassey, Minister Dunsin Oyekan, Minister Yinka Alaseyori, Minister Bidemi Olaoba, Gospel Force, and several other anointed worship ministers whose ministries have continued to impact lives across Nigeria and beyond.

The gathering is not just a music festival or any another event on the calendar. It is a divine appointment — a highly spiritual programme designed as a night of intense prayers, heartfelt worship, prophetic declarations, and thanksgiving unto the Almighty God. Thousands of believers from across Nigeria and beyond would gather to lift one sound of worship before God and declare the beginning of a new season over lives, families, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a nation.

Shedding more light on the event, Pastor Sola Olukoya, Special Assistant to the General Overseer of the RCCG on Youth Affairs said, “As a church, we believe we have a responsibility to continually stand in the gap for our nation. We believe in the destiny of Nigeria, and we are gathering to declare a new season of hope, progress, economic restoration, security, innovation, and transformation across every sector. Our inspiration is drawn from King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:21–22. When Judah was confronted by a great battle, Jehoshaphat raised an army of worshippers. As they began to sing and praise God, the Bible records that the Lord set ambushments against the enemies of His people, and victory was delivered supernaturally.
