A star of the hit BBC show The Traitors has announced that she gave birth to a baby girl after her mum, who was also on the show, revealed the pregnancy on live TV10:57, 01 Jul 2026Updated 10:57, 01 Jul 2026The Traitors cast have welcomed an adorable new member to their tribe. Roxy Wilson, who appeared on series four of the show alongside her mum Judy, shared her happy news on Wednesday 1 July.Roxy shared a photo of herself with her newborn at the Amsterdam home she shares with her partner David. She wrote alongside the post: "The reason I’ve been quiet on here lately. No caption can do this feeling justice." She added hashtags including "#motherhood" and "#daughter".Several Traitors stars congratulated her in the comments. Series three star Francesca Rowan-Plowden said: "Congratulations", while Linda Rands said, "Oh Congratulations" and added several heart emojis. Her mum and co-star Judy also posted several heart emojis.Fans were already aware that Roxy was expecting a child, as her mum Judy had revealed the pregnancy live on air on This Morning. Back in January, after Judy's banishment from the Traitors castle was aired, she appeared on the ITV daytime show."Can I just say? Roxy's having a baby!" Judy excitedly revealed. She added that she would be a grandmother for the "12th time" and that the child was "due June 12".It seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree though, as just a month later, Roxy appeared on Good Morning Britain and announced the gender of her baby. She appeared on the programme to talk about adoption - as she was adopted by Judy when she was five and was then fronting a campaign to get 10,000 vulnerable children in foster homes. But the discussion soon turned to Roxy's child.Susanna Reid asked Roxy if her experience as someone who was adopted was informing her "vision of motherhood". Roxy responded: "I have been the luckiest person and blessed, I absolutely couldn't have asked for anything better in my life."Having a role model who mothered me and changed my life, the course of my life, everything about it. Hopefully, I'll be a great mum myself and look after my daughter the way I've been brought up as well."When Roxy was just five years old, she was in care and placed with one family, but then travelled from Bristol to Doncaster to meet Judy and ended up staying when her foster parents refused to have her back after she got the flu.She spoke about the moment on GMB, telling a shocked Susanna: "I had come from Bristol to Doncaster for the visit, then I was a bit unwell. I remember Mum had made me a packed lunch for the train, all set to go back with my social worker to the Bristol foster carer. I just remember the call and the foster carer saying 'Well don't bring her back then', that was quite nuts."Susanna noted that it must have been "devastating" for Roxy, but the Traitors star sadly admitted that it had become "sort of normal". "I was used to these things," she added. "Being passed so much, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary to not go back somewhere."But Mum just snapped into action, she had my brothers, 'right you're in this bedroom, Roxy has her own bedroom because she's the only girl'. She sat down and said, 'You're part of this family. We say we love you at night time and bed time'. So it went from 'Oh my goodness, I'm not going back' to 'I'm here, I'm staying'."Article continues belowLike this story?
