The Samoa National Provident Fund (SNPF) announced a six per cent dividend, totalling $61 million, on Wednesday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molioo announced that three per cent will be paid out, while the remaining three per cent will be deposited into members' accounts.

Mulipola said the dividend is based on the financial position up to May 2026, while planning for June 2026 was made with the intention of supporting the immediate needs of families through the cash payout while also encouraging the long-term investment of members' savings.

The release of the benefit will begin on Friday, 3 July, while the notification on the NPF App will be available from 12 am on Thursday, 2 July.

Mulipola said contributing members with outstanding debts would not receive the benefit directly because it would instead be used to pay off their outstanding debts with the NPF.
