Russia views a new wave of mobilization as a last resort, which could potentially take place after elections to the State Duma.
According to Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi said this in an interview with TSN.
"If they do carry out [mobilization], it would only be in an extreme case, and most likely after the elections," Syrskyi said.
He added that the risk of a new mobilization wave in Russia always exists, and that Ukraine's military command considers all possible enemy scenarios and prepares for potential developments.
