Stephen Miller ranted against the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of mail-in voting and proceeded to imagine Democrats returning to power. Miller accused Trump appointee Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who wrote the majority opinion, of “caving to the radical left.”The White House deputy chief of staff also called it a “travesty” and leaned into the GOP’s baseless claims that California’s drawn-out election, due in part to absentee ballots, means there’s cheating going on.The court pushed back against Republican efforts to invalidate mail-in votes that arrive after Election Day.But Miller saved his most tilted theatrics in offering his version of what America could look like with Democrats in charge. He told Laura Ingraham the court decision could be “extremely damaging” for Republicans in the midterms and ranted away.“Should the Democrats regain power, it’s game over,” he said. “Twelve more justices on SCOTUS, two new Democrat states. They’re gonna get rid of the Second Amendment. They’re gonna get rid of our borders. They’re gonna get rid of our police. They’re gonna get rid of ICE, border patrol, DHS and they’re gonna elect communists ... who are gonna wreck this country.”Apparently one person’s nightmare is another’s dream.“Is he threatening us with a good time?” one commenter snarked.“Sounds awesome,” another chimed in. “Can’t wait.”Another respondent chided the GOP for sowing panic in a message heavy on exaggeration and falsehoods.“They can’t just create something better instead of continuing to create fear mongering,” the person wrote.Check out those and other responses here.Sounds awesome doesn’t it?
