According to information obtained by IranWire, following the attack on Monday evening, June 29, in Paveh, a third individual was wounded in addition to the two local IRGC members who were killed.
An informed source identified the third individual as “Sirus Darvishi” and told IranWire that the three individuals were targeted near their residences in the Mirabad area.
This morning, state news agencies, quoting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Kermanshah Province, confirmed the deaths of “Borhan Karisani” and “Khaled Khaledi.” The statement made no mention of the third wounded individual.
This confrontation comes amid reports over the past week of several armed clashes between IRGC forces and an Iranian-Kurdish opposition party in the cities of Baneh and Mahabad.
