Australia’s largest operator of KFC restaurants will extend trading to midnight and roll out a breakfast menu to try to squeeze more growth out of its local operations after its European expansion plan hit a wall.
Collins Foods, which operates 295 of Australia’s roughly 800 KFC outlets as well as stores in Germany and the Netherlands, delivered mixed full-year results showing its Australian business performed well but its European stores lagged.
