Titan Esports Club has officially added rookie player ra1ny to its main Valorant roster, giving the Taiwanese duelist his first permanent spot on a VCT China squad. The signing comes just ahead of VCT China Stage 2, which gets underway on July 9, 2026.

For ra1ny, this is the moment a stand-in role becomes a real seat at the table. He previously served as a temporary substitute for TEC during the EWC Qualification, meaning the team already knows what he brings before committing to him for a full stage.

From stand-in to starter

Ra1ny, whose real name is Li Guo-Shuo, managed to flip that script. His stint during EWC Qualification gave him direct competitive experience alongside TEC’s existing roster, which likely smoothed the transition from audition to official signing considerably.

As a Duelist and Controller specialist, ra1ny occupies two of the most tactically demanding roles in Valorant. Duelists are expected to create space and win individual fights. Controllers shape the map with smokes and area denial.
