APC Chieftain, Aliyu Abbat

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and senatorial aspirant for Adamawa Central, Aliyu Abbati, has declared that President Bola Tinubu has no rival in Adamawa State ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Adamawa is the home state of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress.

Speaking with journalists in Yola on Monday, Abbati, an agricultural scientist, economist and policy strategist, attributed Tinubu’s expected victory in the state to the appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as National Security Adviser and other federal appointments given to indigenes of Adamawa.

“My advice to the president is that he should focus his campaign on other states, but for Adamawa State, Ribadu has finished his presidential election victory,” he said.
