ADC cheiftain, Austin Okai
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Austin Okai, has said that the party’s presidential candidate remains the opposition figure best positioned to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Okai stated this on Thursday while speaking on TVC programme, This Morning Show, where he assessed Nigeria’s political landscape and the prospects of the opposition ahead of the next general election.
According to him, many Nigerians are becoming increasingly concerned about the rising cost of living, inflation, unemployment and insecurity.
He argued that the Federal Government’s economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange market, had placed significant pressure on households and businesses.
