You may want to brace for a scorching Canada Day this week as temperatures are expected to climb to the mid-30s — and it may feel even hotter with the humidity.
Environment Canada’s forecast for Monday calls for a day of sun and clouds with temperatures reaching a high of 29 C before they come down to a low of 20 C. The humidex will be at 32, and the UV index will be at 9. During the night, skies will be partly cloudy and there will be a 40 per cent chance of showers overnight with risk of a thunderstorm.
