Marizanne Kapp celebrates with her Proteas Women teammates at Lord's.
Proteas captain Laura Wolvaardt believes her team possesses the bowling arsenal to restrict England’s powerful batting unit in their upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final.
Australia and the West Indies will lock horns in the first semi-final at Lord’s on Tuesday, before the Proteas and the hosts face off two days later in the second semi-final at The Oval.
England have been in fine form, with Nat Sciver-Brunt’s side progressing through their five matches unbeaten. Their batting unit, in particular, has been piling on the runs, with experienced opener Danni Wyatt-Hodge in excellent touch.
Wyatt-Hodge, 35, is the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 282 runs at an average of 94.00 and a strike rate of 153.26.
