MANILA, Philippines — As the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) continues its investigation into the drowning incident that killed Ateneo student-athletes Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, three more Ateneo de Manila personalities appeared before the bureau’s Homicide Division on Monday.

These are former assistant coach Francisco Alas, athletics director Emanuel Fernandez, and physical therapist Jerick Rueca.

Alas was accompanied by his around 10 lawyers when he arrived at the NBI Homicide Division at 10 a.m. to submit his affidavit.
