Liverpool has zeroed in on PSG winger Bradley Barcola as a primary target for the summer 2026 transfer window. The 21-year-old French international has formally asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain after contract talks between the two sides broke down.
PSG is open to offers but has set a valuation that Liverpool, along with rival suitor Arsenal, has found difficult to stomach.
Barcola’s preference and the PSG standoff
Reports from late June 2026 indicate the winger is open to a move to Anfield, and between the two English clubs circling, Liverpool appears to be his favored destination over Arsenal.
Liverpool has had Barcola on its radar since at least 2025, viewing him as a strong alternative to bolster the club’s attacking options. The interest isn’t a sudden infatuation. It’s a calculated pursuit that has been building for over a year.
