The club confirmed that the Ivorian winger will remain part of their plans for the upcoming 2025-26 season, directly contradicting reports that had linked him with a move to AC Milan.
What actually happened here
Diallo joined Manchester United from Atalanta in January 2021, a deal that included performance-based add-ons in the transfer structure. He was 18 at the time. The road since then has not been entirely smooth, involving loan spells and the kind of stop-start development that is fairly common for young players navigating a club of United’s size and expectations.
Now 23, Diallo has made over 50 appearances for the club across all competitions.
