Joyce Obarakpor, a 200-level Nursing Science student of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, had imagined herself winning a prize before attending MTN’s Live It 100 on Campus activation. By the end of the three-day event, that imagination had become reality as she drove home in a brand-new car.
Obarakpor emerged the winner during the raffle draw that climaxed the activation, sparking loud cheers from thousands of students gathered at Campus 3 of the university. Overwhelmed with emotion, she dedicated the win to her mother. “My mum is going to be very excited because she has sacrificed so much to make sure my siblings and I go to school. I just want to say thank you to MTN. I’m very happy and very excited,” she said.
The activation, held from June 17 to 19, transformed the campus into a hub of games, entertainment, interactive experiences and prize giveaways, drawing thousands of students over the three days.
Speaking at the grand finale, Senior Manager, Segment Marketing (Youth, Women and Teens), MTN Nigeria, Temilolu Salako, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting young Nigerians beyond providing connectivity.
“MTN Pulse is an impactful campus initiative created to celebrate and support young people.
