Four participants—Estonia, Switzerland, the Swiss National Science Foundation, and the SaveScienceUA initiative—joined the International Coalition to Support Science, Research, and Innovation in Ukraine during the URC-2026 Conference in Gdańsk.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Denys Kurbatov shared this information in a comment to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“During the Ukraine Recovery Conference, Estonia, Switzerland, and two organizations—the Swiss National Science Foundation and SaveScienceUA—joined the Coalition,” he said.
According to Kurbatov, the International Coalition to Support Science, Research, and Innovation in Ukraine—established last year at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome—has expanded from six to 25 countries over the past year, with the total number of participants reaching 55.
“This demonstrates growing international support for Ukrainian science,” the deputy minister noted.
