Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya has commended the peaceful conduct of the local government election in the state.
Yahaya said this on Saturday after he cast his vote at a polling unit located at the Government Science Secondary School, Gombe.
He expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the election, and commended voters for coming out en masse to exercise their civic responsibility.
The governor also lauded security agencies, election officials, and other stakeholders for their roles in ensuring a hitch-free process.
