Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has described the ongoing Nasarawa North Senatorial District bye-election as one of the most orderly and well-organised polls he has witnessed in recent years.

Sule made the remark on Saturday after casting his vote at Polling Unit 002, Gudi Motor Park, in Gudi, his country home, alongside his wives, Silifat Abdullahi-Sule and Farida Abdullahi-Sule.

The by-election is being conducted across Nasarawa Eggon, Akwanga and Wamba local government areas to fill the vacant seat left by the late Senator Godiya Akwashiki, who died after a prolonged illness.

The governor said the process was seamless from accreditation to voting, noting that he completed the exercise within minutes.
