The Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency bye-election in Kano State has been largely peaceful, with security agencies and electoral officials closely monitoring the exercise across polling units.
Officials of the Nigeria Police Force, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and other security agencies were deployed across the constituency to ensure order and compliance with electoral guidelines.
The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, alongside the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Abdu Zango, and members of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES), visited several polling units in Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Local Government Areas to assess the process.
