The North America Regional Qualifier for The International 2026, better known as TI15, reached its final stretch this week. PGL, the tournament organizer, is running the last day of competition where four teams are fighting over a single direct slot to one of esports’ most prestigious championships.
The format and the field
PGL structured the qualifier as a double-elimination bracket, hosted on US East servers and running from June 24 through June 26, 2026. The competing rosters are GamerLegion, GG Boom, The Bug, and 4 Anchors and Ilmeria. Only one of these four teams will earn North America’s direct slot to TI 2026.
Why The International still matters
The single-slot allocation for North America tells its own story about the region’s standing in the global Dota 2 ecosystem.
