Four teams. One slot. Three days. The TI 2026 North America Qualifier kicks off June 24 and wraps June 26, with the winner punching a ticket to The International 2026 main event in Shanghai, China, scheduled for August 13-23.
GamerLegion is the only directly invited team in the bracket, which tells you pretty much everything about where things stand in North American Dota 2 right now.
The field and the favorite
The qualifier features four teams total: GamerLegion plus three squads that fought their way through open qualifiers held from June 11-13. Those open qualifier survivors include GG Boom, The Bug, and 4 Anchors + Ilmeria, each of whom beat out teams like IGNITE and MIT Esports for their spots.
GamerLegion recently brought in Malaysian carry player Daniel Chan Kok Hong, better known as “Ghost,” replacing Yamsun ahead of the qualifier. The move came after GamerLegion posted strong results in the Esports World Cup NA Closed Qualifier.
