Women-led businesses showcase products at FLO Bazaar in Coimbatore

Handwoven sarees, dress materials, jewellery, food products, paintings, and many more adorn the display tables at FLO Bazaar, a two-day exhibition organised by FICCI FLO at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam in Coimbatore city.The 11th edition of the FLO Bazaar took off on Friday morning to promote women entrepreneurship. From home-made food items to home decor, wellness products, and lifestyle items, over 50 women-led businesses in Coimbatore city have exhibited for sale a wide range of products.“The FLO Bazaar is a vibrant platform dedicated to promoting women entrepreneurship and empowering grassroots women entrepreneurs from Coimbatore and its surrounding regions,” said a press release from the organisers.At the counter of the green vertical of Coimbatore’s FICCI FLO, about 20 women have made nearly 15 different types of products by hand, including jewellery, gift envelopes, coasters, pickles, handbags, and fruit baskets. The proceeds from the sale of these products will go towards planting of trees in the city.The FLO Bazaar is presented by a team led by the FLO Coimbatore chapter chairperson Parnika Gupta and the event convenor Vanaja Ramaraj, the release said.
