The interest, first reported by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, suggests that Spurs see Marmoush as a player who could meaningfully upgrade their forward line.
A £59M signing looking for a bigger role
Marmoush joined Manchester City on January 23, 2025, in a deal worth £59 million from Eintracht Frankfurt. The move came with a four-and-a-half-year contract, tying him to the club until mid-2029.
He made 37 appearances in the 2025-26 Premier League season and scored 10 goals. For a player who turned 27 in February, the calculus starts to shift. Peak years are finite.
