Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal to sign Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, with the Egyptian forward already agreeing to the move following productive negotiations between the two clubs.
The transfer, which would value Marmoush between £70 million and £75 million, represents yet another blockbuster addition to a Spurs squad that has been completely overhauled this summer. Tottenham have now spent north of £300 million on new arrivals under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
From Frankfurt sensation to City squad player
At Eintracht Frankfurt, Marmoush scored 27 goals in 46 appearances during the 2024-25 season. Manchester City signed him in January 2025, paying an initial fee of £59 million to bring him to the Etihad.
Marmoush managed 10 goals in 37 appearances for City. His desire for regular playing time, limited primarily due to the presence of Erling Haaland, has been the catalyst for this move.
