—United States. The Fed’s favored inflation gauge, the PCE index, rose 4.1% in the year to May 2026, the first reading above 4% in three years and the highest since April 2023.
—Zimbabwe. Annual inflation fell from a peak of 95.8% in July 2025 to 4.4% in May 2026, letting the central bank cut its policy rate from 35% to 30%.
