The new Championship season will begin with a clash between Wolves and Blackburn Rovers at Molineux on Friday, August 14. The EFL announced the full list of fixtures for the 2026-27 campaign on Thursday, giving all 24 clubs a look at their schedules.

Newly-promoted Lincoln City will travel to Middlesbrough, who lost last season's play-off final in agonising fashion. Meanwhile, Cardiff City will kick-off their return to the second tier with a juicy all-Welsh clash at home to Wrexham on Monday, August 17.

League One play-off winners Bolton Wanderers also begin with a mouth-watering home game, welcoming Preston North End. The opening weekend will also see Burnley host West Ham, with both clubs having been relegated from the Premier League.

Fixtures to look out for include Millwall versus West Ham, who'll meet on September 19 at The Den and February 20 at the London Stadium. Southampton and Middlesbrough - the two clubs involved in the infamous Spygate scandal - will face each other on November 28 at St Mary's and March 13 at the Riverside.
