A team of students from the University of Lagos successfully delivered the second edition of TEDxUNILAG in just 44 days, securing the support of several corporate partners and recording a sell-out of its early ticket categories ahead of the final ticket sales.
The second edition of TEDxUNILAG has emerged as a notable example of student-led innovation and execution, with the organising team delivering the event within just 44 days.
In a statement, Leader Bill President of TEDxUNILAG 2.0 said that the achievement reflects the resilience, determination, and achievements of the team behind the event.Themed “Can’t Hold Us,” TEDxUNILAG 2.0 has demonstrated a level of professionalism often associated with established corporate entities. The team developed a strong event brand, managed sponsorship engagements, coordinated ticket sales, and generated demand that exceeded available ticket allocations.
“Despite the limited preparation period, the students successfully coordinated sponsorship campaigns, secured corporate partnerships, and recorded a sell-out of early ticket categories ahead of the final release.
