A 14-year-old girl who attends Itu Asau College is in critical condition at Moto’otua Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after she was struck by a bus in front of CS Mart at Falealupo on Monday afternoon.
According to a video circulating on social media, the girl was trying to cross the road after getting off a bus. The video shows her crossing the road in front of the bus she gets off, and then getting hit by an oncoming bus.
According to police from Savai’i, the incident happened at about 1:45 pm on Monday. No charges has been made regarding the incident.
The young girl remains in critical condition and is fighting for her life at Moto’otua Hospital at the moment.
