Kambham Samuel Praveen Gowtham has assumed charge as the Superintendent of Police, Theni district on Wednesday.A 2020 batch IPS officer, he had served in Kanniyakumari district as ASP Colachel and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tiruppur City prior to the new appointment.Speaking to media persons, the SP said that he would accord top priority to maintenance of law and order, prevention of crimes and narcotics substances.
