The Outpatient Department (OPD) at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research will not function on Friday (June 26) on the occasion of Muharram being a Central government holiday. Hence, patients are requested not to visit Jipmer for OPD services. However, the emergency services at the hospital will function without any interruption, a release said.
