U.S. futures for the S&P 500 were up 0.1% and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.1%. Changes in futures do not necessarily predict movements after the opening bell.
In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 was flat in morning trading. SEGRO rose 15.7% and Tritax Big Box REIT rose 5.3%. On the other hand, Rheinmetall dropped 13.4%, and Hensoldt slipped 6.1%. The FTSE 100 was flat. Other stocks in Europe were mixed as France's CAC 40 increased 0.3% and Germany's DAX dropped 0.6%.
The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index climbed 0.1% to 97.7.
In commodities, Brent crude fell 1.1% to $75.99 a barrel, and WTI crude fell 1.2% to $72.31 a barrel. The European benchmark price for natural gas, the Dutch futures contract TTF, was down 0.3% to 41.88 euros a megawatt hour.
The German 10-year Bund yield declined by 1 basis point to 2.912% from 2.924%, and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury fell by 2 basis points to 4.485% from 4.502%. Bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.
