A man was shot dead after gunmen opened fire as he exited the driveway of his Pinetown home on Wednesday morning.
A man was killed outside his home on Wednesday morning in the Pinetown area, west of Durban.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said the incident took place just after 8 am in Roosevelt Road in Padfield Park.
"Paramedics arrived on scene to find a vehicle riddled with bullets and were shown to a male believed to be in his 40s, who was believed to be exiting his driveway when he was shot multiple times.
"Paramedics assessed the man, he sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and there was nothing paramedics could do for him, and he was declared deceased on the scene."
