SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Forest conservation, local products, and community participation take center stage in this year’s Subic Bay Arbor Day, which is a weeklong celebration that brings together government workers, locators, and residents through tree-planting activities, cleanup drives, exhibits, and discussions on environmental sustainability.

The annual celebration, spearheaded by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Ecology Center, officially kicked off on June 22 and will run until July 10, featuring a series of activities to promote forest conservation, showcasing local crafts and products, and strengthening the freeport community’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
