Felipe “insani” Yuji isn’t going anywhere. The Brazilian support player has confirmed he’ll stay with MIBR through at least the end of 2026, even though his contract expires in December and no formal extension has been signed.
The decision is notable because insani had a real exit ramp. Rival Brazilian squad Legacy came calling after benching n1ssim, and the move would have represented a chance to shake things up mid-season. Insani said no.
Insani, who turned 22 in April, has been with MIBR’s main roster since January 2023. He came up through the organization’s academy system, which makes this decision feel less like a business calculation and more like genuine loyalty to the infrastructure that developed him.
His career prize earnings sit at approximately $132,000. Not life-changing money by traditional sports standards, but a meaningful figure for a young player in the Brazilian esports ecosystem.
The timing matters too. The 2026 CS2 season is in full swing, with marquee events like IEM Cologne and the CAC still on the calendar. Jumping ship mid-season would mean integrating into a new system, building chemistry with new teammates, and doing it all under competitive pressure.
