Justinas “jL” Lekavičius, the Lithuanian rifler who spent two years on one of the most storied rosters in Counter-Strike history, is stepping away from competitive play. Natus Vincere announced on July 8, 2025, that jL would move to the inactive roster to prioritize his well-being, citing personal reasons and burnout.
The departure is described as mutual. jL has indicated plans for a temporary break of roughly 3-6 months.
What happened and what comes next
jL originally joined NAVI on June 30, 2023, stepping into a lineup that has historically competed at the highest tier of Counter-Strike.
NAVI’s answer is Drin “makazze” Shaqiri, promoted from NAVI Junior to fill the vacancy. IEM Cologne 2025, one of the marquee events on the CS2 calendar, is approaching.
