The Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 vacuums and mops in a single pass, with 25,000 Pa suction, a TriCut anti-tangle brush that slices long hair before it wraps around the roller, and a DuoScrub mop system with two rotating pads that scrub harder than a flat drag pad. The side brush and mop both extend outward during cleaning, reaching baseboards and corners that round-bodied robots normally leave with a dry strip along the wall. A self-cleaning dock handles maintenance between sessions, including hot-water mop washing, drying, water refills, and dust emptying into a 4.5L bag.

A robot vacuum and mop that’s more powerful than your typical models
The 25,000 Pa Vormax vacuum on the Gen 2 is nearly twice as strong as the 11,000 Pa on the original L40 Ultra. This results in better performance when it comes to embedded dirt that lighter machines will skim over but not lift. Pet hair in lower-pile carpets, fine dust, and sand or other debris tracked in can be picked up with just one pass.
Long human hair, dog hair, and cat fur wrap around standard robot vacuum brushes, turning brush cleaning into a weekly chore with scissors. The included TriCut Brush 3.0 is a rubber roller with hair-cutting blades built into the design, slicing strands as they wind through the roller before they can tangle around the axle. The cut hair is pulled into the dustbin with the rest of the debris, so the brush stays clear between cleaning runs without you having to reach in to detangle it by hand.
